AquaFit Sessions

Introduction:

AquaFit is a fun system of exercise to music.

Performed standing chest high in water, AquaFit is suitable for the majority including the self conscious and non swimmers alike. Easy to follow and logical, it can be adapted to suit those who are looking for light exercise, but is no soft option for those who want to really work their body.

The choice is yours !

Your AquaFit Session:

Your instructor Dawn qualified in 1991 with the Amateur Swimming Association and brings to AquaFit over 20 years of experience in other aquatic instruction.

An AquaFit Session After a short warm up designed to prepare you mentally and physically, Dawn will guide you through each exercise to determine the way moves are executed in the water. In this way she is able to ensure that the correct resistance is obtained for your personal requirements.

The main session will involve various moves designed to improve fitness, stamina and flexibility. As water is considerably denser than air it supports the body weight and there is less chance of straining muscles, or damaging ligaments and joints.

The session closes with a short cool down period which will reduce the heart rate and stretch out the muscles.

Booking Your Session:

Sessions can be booked for a course of individual instruction, or join in with one of our popular ladies groups of up to nine in a class.
