Hydro-Health Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions enhance the experience and privacy of each individual visiting Hydro Health for treatments and courses as well as enabling prices to be kept to a minimum.

For all Watsu bookings

1. Cancellations

a) 48 hours notice is required for cancellation and re-booking.

b) Less than 48 hours notice will result in the £35 deposit being forfeited.

c) Cancelation of booked session on the day or non attendance will result in clients charged the full Watsu fee.*

d) If for any reason we need to cancel bookings, a replacement appointment will be made.


2. When you arrive

a) Please enter the pool area no more than 5 minutes before your Watsu is scheduled. This allows sufficient time to get change and will not encroach on previous client’s session.

b) Please bring with you comfortable swimwear and at least one towel. A robe will be provided at the end of your treatment for your use.

c) You will be required to remove outdoor shoes upon entry to the pool area, please feel free to bring indoor shoes for around the pool area. (It’s your responsibility to there suitability for around a pool side)

d) Before your Watsu, Please use the toilet facilities and wash your hands before entering the pool.

e) Please turn off all mobile and electronic communications.

3. When booking

a) A £35 deposit is required for all single sessions and final payment required on the day of treatment before leaving. Any recommended Watsu maintenance plans will be discounted accordingly with payment required in full.

b) Prior to your first Watsu a verbal consultation will be conducted to ascertain any contraindications and areas of concern. Please notify your practitioner should you have any conditions or ailments and fill in and sign the confidential health intake form, to ensure the appropriate care can be taken.


4. After your Watsu Experience

After your Watsu it is not uncommon to notice some changes in your body, mind and mood. Your experience and benefits will be individual to you. Each person’s Watsu is different and you will take, from the session, what your body needs most.

To gain maximum benefit from your Watsu, follow the advice recommended below:

a) Drink plenty of water to replace any lost fluids and to avoid dehydration. This will further help to eliminate any toxins from your body

b)Relax in our Watsit room and make sure, if driving, you are ready for the road.

c) Avoid alcohol, smoking and excessive tea or coffee drinking as this could dehydrate you further

d) Avoid eating strong, spicy foods and eat light foods for the rest of the day

e) Try to rest for the remainder of the day

f) Have an early night or take a nap

Watsu clients have exclusive use of our Watsit room; please feel free to relax in there after your experience or before if you arrive early.

For one to one: Swimming / Jetting / Ai-Chi/ excersise courses

a) Payment is required in full and in advance of the course commencing.

b) We regret that in the unfortunate circumstance that you may need to cancel/not attend a previously booked appointment, fees will have to be forfeited unless 7 days notice is given, only then, may it be rebooked. No refund equivalent.*

c) Please enter the pool area no more than 5 minutes before your appointment is scheduled. This allows sufficient time to get change and will not encroach on previous client’s session.

d) Please bring with you comfortable swimwear, at least one towel and goggles if you have some.

e) You will be required to remove outdoor shoes upon entry to the pool area, please feel free to bring indoor shoes for around the pool area.( It’s your responsibility to there suitability for around a pool side)

f) Before your appointment, Please use the toilet facilities and wash your hands before entering the pool.

g) Please turn off all mobile and electronic communications.

Water Weenies

a) payment is required in full and in advance of the course commencing.

b) We regret that in the unfortunate circumstance that you may need to cancel/not attend a previously booked appointment, fees will have to be forfeited.*

c) Please enter the pool area no more than 10 minutes before your appointment is scheduled. This allows sufficient time to get change and will not encroach on previous client’s session.

d) All babies must wear neoprene baby swim nappies we recommend to use the following website: (http://www.friendlybaby.co.uk/swimming/splashabout-happynappy.html).

e) Bring with you comfortable swimwear, at least one towel and/or towelling robe

f) Your baby will be hungry after their water time so please come prepared. Whether you breast –or bottle feed, we ask that you do this out of the water and in the privacy of the changing area.

g) You will be required to remove outdoor shoes upon entry to the pool area, please feel free to bring indoor shoes for around the pool area.(your responsibility to there suitability for around a pool side)

Group classes of Aquafit/Ai-Chi

a) payment is required in full and in advance of the course commencing.

b) We regret that in the unfortunate circumstance that you may need to cancel/not attend a previously booked appointment, fees will have to be forfeited. (we are happy for you to make up on other class days if a vacancy is available however this is optional and not an obligation of Hydro Health to provide that opportunity)*

c) Anyone already on the course has first refusal to the next follow on course when reserved and paid for a week in advance of the next course start date.

d) Please enter the pool area no more than 10 minutes before your appointment is scheduled. This allows sufficient time to get change and will not encroach on previous client’s session.

E) Bring with you comfortable swimwear, at least one towel and/or towelling robe.

F) You will be required to remove outdoor shoes upon entry to the pool area, please feel free to bring indoor shoes for around the pool area.(your responsibility to there suitability for around a pool side)

We are sure that any genuine person will adhere to and accept these terms and conditions. Payment is considered an agreement of these terms and conditions.

*Should you have extreme personal circumstances and feel you would like to request relief of these terms and conditions please put your case in writing and send to dawn@watsu.co.uk
